General Interior door handles

I just managed to find 2 interior door handles (chrome) for my Nouva but could someone tell me if they are fitted on the upholstery of the 2 front doors or on the top area (metal) above the upholstery?

Shanil,
They fit on the top edge of the door lining and screw into the metal of the door. I've attached a photo of the passenger door of my 500F (prerestoration). I assume that the suicide door cars are similar - you don't say which model Bambino you own.
Post some pictures of your car sometime. They'd be interesting to see.

I found a photo of a Nuova/500D (suicide door) and the pull handles mount just above the door lining.

The type of door you have seems to determine the mount point.

Hi the last picture is the right one many thanks I have the 1960 model 500N Nouva which is the 1st edition an has no gadgets what so ever

My L model didn't come with interior door handles. Can I just get a pair and screw them into the door?

I think the L should have the plastic door handles
