Doors fit well but you've really got to slam them to close which is a pain. Ive just taken a look at the rubber seal and im wondering if its the right one as it looks like the gap at bottom has a slightly thinner one. Any advise please?
Many aftermarket door seals were fitted to 500's that have a profile that's too large. You can order the correct small diameter seals from most of the Fiat specialist though (I think mine came from Ricambi spares, on Ebay). I had the same problem as you.

I tried to use some of the trims that "Woolies" can supply, but they were either too thin, or too thick. Eventually I had to bite the bullet and buy from a "Classic 500" supplier. Try Mark at "Motobambino"---VERY helpful guy.

So new rubbers arrived today, look at first glance almost same as existing but channel profile looks slightly thinner and the rubber feels softer. Fitted to both doors and they now shut first time, whoopie.
Attached is new Ricambio on left.
