Hi,

It would certainly benefit me, and probably others - to know the names of Insurance companies that are leaneant on MODS to Bravos e.g. dont care, or charge a small amount etc.

Ill start:

Liverpool Victoria
www.liverpoolvictoria.com
"We dont care about MODS, performance or otherwise"

Thanks

John

re

i think it depends on lots of stuff, not just a general company polciy.

my mate cant put a chip on his Corsa GSI cos it's cost him an extra 300 squid insurance or summink, and he's with liverpool victoria!

Re: re

quote from liverpool victoria!!!
There are a small number of circumstances where we can not provide a quotation, to save you time, please read through and confirm that you agree with the following:

You are the owner, main user and registered keeper of the vehicle
You and any other driver are under 80 years of age
You are resident in the UK
You or any other drivers of your vehicle have not been banned from driving in the last 5 years for any reason except for a single speeding offence
Your vehicle is classed as a private car (not a van, Pickup or Minibus) and is registered and normally driven in the UK
Your vehicle has been manufactured for the UK market, e.g. it is not a Japanese import
Your vehicle does NOT have any performance enhancing modifications.

mods

www.performancedirect.co.uk claim to look fairly well on mods. Haven't tried them myself mind.

Re: mods

dont go with performance insurance (advert in max power/revs) they are the biggest crock of **** ever, they told me they would be great with all mods etc and not be too bothered so i thought great..signed up.

put some alloys on my car booked it into the body shop for a respray of the bumpers etc, i rang my insurance company and all of a sudden i am now paying £96 per month and not £71 !!! so i canceld my bodyshop appointment and i only have alloys on my car now :(

roll on feb where i can switch insurance companys and ditch these ******s

Re: Re: mods

Funny that. I'm with Adrian Flux and they dont charge me for mods. I',m only 22.

Re: Re: Re: mods

i meant performance insurance as in the company named "performance insurance" not performance insurers

ok getting a little complicated, lol

performance insurance are part of mayfair insurance and those were the ones i was haveing problems with. on there max power advert it clearly states "young drivers, hot hatches, performance cars, convicted drivers" if anyone actually calls them for a quote i guarantee you will regretit, the insurance company are a joke and i hate them with a passion, i am scared shitless of crashing my car..not because i will crash my car but incase i actually have to claim with them !!! god knows what they would be like
