Cant see why you wouldnt get insurance for under £2000 for a 1.2!

Depends where you live and what year the car was made

At 17 I was getting quotes for 2.5k+ for my 1.2 punto.

Btw, have you done pass plus? Might be worth doing that if you cant get it under 2k.

Also, how long until you are 18? Mine went down to £900 when I turned 18.

Anything to make your car more appealing to theifs will make your insureance higher.

As soon as you say, 17yo, male, Punto, Corsa, Saxo, 106 etc the silly prices start coming.

I'm paying £1280.04 fully comp, 3 points and no NCD on my Panda with a £400 excess. That's with mod's declaired also.

Shop around. And when you've got the best price online, then ring them. Never buy online. Always buy over the phone, they often knock a few more quid off I've found!

I'm with Quinn and i was paying £83 a month on my provisional, as soon as i passed i got an excess of £800, an extra £160 a month for the remainder of the policy!

Btw, my cinq is a 0.9!
