If you go on your mums try tesco insurance but dont even ask them about ur own!

I'd say go on your own insurance from the start, yes it costs alot to begin with but you save in the long run. With pass plus and NCB you should get a significant reduction in the following years.

Because you've not got a high group insurance car at the moment (and may have in the future) it'd be better to get your own insurance now, as in a couple of years with a high insurance group car you'd struggle to find your own insurance.

In the end its up to you..

i got 1 from churchill 4 £1078 tpft or fully comp £1300. thats not under ne1. but i dont think they take modified cars.

yellow sporting, Remus exhaust, clear repeaters and door sills that say cinquecento.sparco strut brace on the way. Planning 2 get hormann widearch.

hmm, might have probs getting yure own for £800...

I paid £1500 for my 1st yr on my SX in Manc, was 17 then, on a provisional licence, and the car was immobilised and garaged. That was thru Adrian Flux (http//www.adrianflux.co.uk)

I remember my cousin from Brighton looking into insuring my car to see if it made any difference. Only about £200 based on similar personal details with the car on the road at night.

Unfortunately, its the age that is the biggest factor, though added vehicle security may help.
