Well after a bit of playing one company off another, I've managed to get the insurance on the Coupe sorted for another year.
> 30 years old (me, not the car!)
> 2 Years NCB (this is my 2nd car) but they apparently factor in my 8 years NCB on other policy for the Stilo
> Modifications declared - wheels, brakes and bodykit
> £150 excess
> £80 windscreen excess (how much?!)
> Limited to 5000 miles a year
> Legal protection
All this for £313. Struck me as pretty good. This was through Adrian Flux with Marker Study.
On a like for like basis, this is about the same what I paid last year. Only main difference is the modifications are now declared.
