Insurance claims and colour coded bumpers

Ive had an accident and ive had abarth bumpers put on that arent standard before the accident.
What will happen to regards of my insurance claim? (ive put 'no modifications') but will colour coded bumpers come under a 'modification'?Will they ever get to know that the bumpers are not standard? Can I claim for a new one?
This is so poo. Anyone had this happen?

well as is said on the forums so many times declare ALL mods.
theres no way you will get non OE bumpers replaced however TBH its unlikely to get flagged so most likely the car will get repaired

find your own bodyshop to do the repair and explain to them what you want and ask them to bill for standard stuff.,, they'll do up and estimate and then give it to the insurance company.,
thats what people do over here.,
if they arent genuine fiat ones then they cant do it.,.,

I was a student and didnt have much money when i got my insurance custard. I dont need a lecture.
I think im just gonna try to get hold of the replacement parts myself and hope for the best. Im gonna get this sorted!

when i was studying i just put the car off the road as i couldnt afford to pay the insurance :chin:

repairer will have parts sent by dealer, so dealer will send whatever was originally on that car. however they'll usually colour code it if yours is colourcoded. but you wont get a free abarth bumper
