Insurance and Pass Plus

hi can i use 13 months old pass plus certificate for my insurnace.i heard i can only use it 12 months old.(i used first earlier aswell. when i got my first insurance last year)
and also i m 20 year old male and have fiat punto 1.2 R reg and insurance quote with 1 year no claim bounus and for only third party is about 1200 pounds. Am i getting a good deal? i have used all comaprisons sites

Have you tried MoreThan? Go though their site, I've got a quote for £780 when I turn 19, with 1 years no claims bounus, without pass plus, thats fully comp, if you phone them up you can say you've got pass plus and its cheaper, thats what I did last year.

well more than dont wana quote me for some reasons maybe because of area.

I don't see why not, you've done the course so you should still be able to reap the benefits for more than the first year. I know on confused.com it says "Full UK Manual-Pass Plus" and it doesn't mention anything about how long you've had it for or how long you've been driving. There will come a time where it won't make any difference to your quotes though, I'm 27 and only passed in Feb and it wasn't going to affect my insurance so I didn't bother with it

Edit: Don't forget you get 10% off your best quote with FF insurance, check the sticky in this section - that would bring you down to just over a grand which ain't bad at all

It's valid for life, or I wouldn't have bothered waisting £75 doing it

depends on insurer. I'm using my PP for the second year now that I'm with eCar - they accept it for 2 yrs.

When I first passed, Churchill accepted it as a full years no claim.

So after year one I actually had two years no claims, which I transferred no problem to Adrian Flux
