as some of you guys know my stereo has been driving me mad with it cutting out and generally messing me around and driving me loopy
well today i finally got off me backside and sorted it out. the old install kinda broke a bit when i lobed it in the car after the 0 - 60 'runs' (term used loosely i will openly admit, more like attempts
) so i thought bugger it, will make something simple that will do the job until ive got some new amps for my goodies i have lying around
the problem with the cutting out would appear to have been due to the old design of the boot install, an error on my part and i couldnt be arsed to rectify it while i had the chance.... the terminals for the power and speaker outputs had been pushed into the amp where i had mounted it to high up and the seats actually pused against them.
built up the temp install today and was playing around trying to get it to work and noticed that the amp only worked when you lifted the terminals.. contact prob i would guess.. was going to make a small wooden block just to lift them and support it for the time being when i had a brain wave got the roll of insulation tape from my pocket and tried it for size, and bingo, its spot on who says gaffa tape is the one and only eh

and what im running atm.. looks pants but it works.. so im happy for now

there are just some people that screw you up and dont give a damn, unfortunately i seem to have found that one!!!
