I have a 2013 semi automatic TwinAir (85-105 bhp) and LCD screen has gone after a jump start. I sent to unit away to be tested and they advised me the LCD screen has gone and they did not have a replacement they said it was betond repair. I know these are a common problem and are very difficult to find I would like to know if anyone does know where I am able to get a replacement or even a replacement unit with less miles currently miles are about 75k as I am struggling to do so.

I ran into a similar problem recently because I also have a semi-automatic / dualogic 2013 model and the best/only solution for it is to buy a newer TFT cluster. When I get the time I will update my post about this issue with more details, but basically get a (TFT) cluster from a 2016+ car and do a proxy alignment on it using multiecuscan software.

The benefit of newer facelift clusters is that they are much cheaper and more common to find than the rare prefacelift TFT-s and also they have lower mileages because they are from newer cars.

And last thing to keep in mind is that the TFT cluster can be from any car - automatic or manual. You can just program it to show the correct stuff using multiecuscan software.

You need to remove the current cluster and there is a sticker on the ribbon cable that tells you what cluster model it is
On ours it said Cog Vlit 1592 03
This is the number you need to search for a replacement on ebay / Alixpress / amazon

If you go the route of replacing with a tft screen make sure that the replacement screen has less miles than yours
as multiecuscan can adjust your mileage forward to match but not backwards if the replacement has more miles
We got a second hand tft cluster from italy

Unfortunately I would advise against buying that cluster. It is 622 pounds with VAT (so over 700 euros) which is quite a large amount of money for most people and who knows when that one breaks. Also I did not see the mileage and OP has quite low mileage car - around 75 000.

Regular newer facelift TFT clusters are around 200 pounds including VAT and shipping costs and seem to be a reliable solution.

Also I did not see the mileage
It's a brand new OEM cluster!
and who knows when that one breaks
so comes with a warranty.

I'd agree it's crazy expensive, but if you need it fixed tomorrow with as little hassle as possible...

A secondhand cluster will be cheaper, but who knows how it's been stored, or how long it will last? And you need to find one with less miles than your existing car.

Oh, I did not realize that it was a brand new OEM one (mostly because second hand ones are usually that price if we are talking about prefacelift Dualogic clusters :D ).

But anyway then the price is fair for a solid and reliable plug and play fix. The price itself is of course high, but considering the hassle and risk of buying a second hand cluster from probably another country and that needs the use of diagnostic tools to get it to work. Then I would go with the brand new one - especially because the older style analogue speedo is a much better fit to prefacelift models imo.

Thank you for your advice on this and I think I will take the option and buy the new one from shop4parts as I have already been in touch with them.

I have another question does anyone know where in London I am able to get the proxy alignment done, and will I be able to fit it and use before this is done and wouldn't only be the millage adjustment that would be needed?

The old unit blew after a jump start due to the blue&me drawing the battery i have managed to unplug this now after watching a video online and this issue is resolved now as I don't use it i took this option to do this.

Again advice much appreciated.

Have a look for a new LED too.. if you can find one it's about £120 and you won't need to do any proxy alignment or mileage adjustment.

There are "ECU Repair" places that can fix it (I think about £200) but they rely on being able to source the LED's.. so they might tell you they "can't fix it".. .but they could if they had the LED... so it's not a fatal problem, it's more of a part supply problem (Fiat do not sell the LCDs individually, so we're at the mercy of the aftermarket).
