I bought a second hand 2005 Fiat Stilo 1.6 16v.
I am very experienced in automobile mechanics. As far as i observed till now, this car is consuming too much fuel.
In city, average consumption is at around 11lt/100km. The air filter, spark plugs etc are replaced.
But when i look avg. consumption, 8.5lt/100km is seen. Can the difference between real and on board values be so big?
Also when i take my right foot from the gas pedal while the car is going, (the gear is not in neutral) instantaneous consumption is read as 2lt-2.5lt/100km unlike the usual cars 0lt/100km. Do you observe same reading? Or does it indicate any problem in my car?
