Technical Injectors...

Right, well first of all ive got a Fiat Stilo 1.6 16v Dynamic.

Its been misfiring and also has a lumpy idle.

Ive been testing parts and have had the car plugged into the computer. So far ive replaced 2 Faulty coils and all 4 spark plugs, which has improved it alot but it still happening.

This time when it misfired it stored a fault code saying 'Injector Circuit Malfunction Cylinder 1, Cylinder 3.

So ive taken the plunge and orderd some new injectors. But im now struggling to find the old ones in my engine bay! most cars its very obvious on the inlet manifold.

Anybody know of a guide or have any tips on finding and replacing the injectors?

The fuel rail is under the inlet manifold ..and its a shame you ordered the injectors cos I have two brand new ones here you could have had very cheap....:bang:

See where the brake is in the two halves of the manifold ..you need to remove the bottom half and you then should see the fuel rail..

ah, dang, i got some working but second hand ones, off a crashed fiat stilo estate, not damaged though, £100 for 4 =]

do i need to remove the intake manifold itself then to get at them? and if so, do i need to be getting any new gaskets etc for putting it back together?
