for the past two years i have been having trouble with the injector warning light comimg on and engine running rough its a ducato 2.8 jtd 2004. i have owned from new and it has only 20000 miles on the clock ok untill two years old then it started its a known fault with wiring i think, one fisrt occasion fiat garage was surposed to have fixed the fault ok for two years then started again so took it to private garage and they extented the wires but the fault just keeps coming back. i have now been back to fiat garage they tell me there is now a mod to cure problem its a new type of electrcal plug that plugs into injector and cost £16 for each plug with fitting £224 which seems a bit expensive to me i dont know how hard it is to fit these plugs but surely not to hard. i would very much be gratefull for any help or advise anyone can give me on this matter as the vehicle is a motorhome and i dread to set of incase it happens again. thanks

They made the loom too short putting strain on the connectors its usually just the number 4 injector, it will be stored as a fault code. I would only replace the one listed. You can try squeezing the contacts gently to get a better contact often thats all thats required assuming there no corrosion.
