Technical Injector clamp torque setting

Hi,
Almost there with the rebuild of my mk2 multijet. Engine is back in but won't start. I've had the injectors out and suspect maybe a leak past the seals. I used the old ones which probably wasn't a good idea. Anyone know what the injector clamp torque should be?

Since youve has the fuel rail disassembled
Good chance u may have an airlock

Do you have injector leak off upon cranking?

Hi Ziggy,
Actually found one of the T pieces that plug into the top of the injector was cracked. Going to try new injectors in it today as well as a new fuel return pipe.
I'll keep you posted.

If anyone is searching the threads for this information, the torque setting for the injector clamps is 20Nm.
