Induction

Hi
I,m hopefully getting a Bravo this week, all being if the test drive goes ok!!! Its a 1.4 SX and i,m going to put a induction system on, but which one??????????
Should i go for Green Filters, Pipercross, or K&N?????????
any ideas or advice, also can you get a power boost valve for this car if so where from??

I have got a pipercross one for mine it goes pretty well and sounds good too, not sure if K$N do one for the 1.4. Anyone got a jetex one on theirs? Any good??

power boost valve

Power boost valves only work on fuel injected cars, is the car single point injection??? If so you can't get one fitted..... if you have a 16v model then maybe theres a chance but not sure think the lowest engine size it'll fit on is 1.6

Whats this power boost malarkey - What does it do, how much does it cost etc..

(Just fitted the K&N induction kit at the w/end)

Power boost

Hi
A power boost valve replaces a exsisting valve in the fuel system and increases fuel presure into the system,
say from 1 to 1.7, and affectively gives more bhp
they cost about £100, but unfortunately the Bravo 1.4
is a single point injection system so they are unavailable as yet for this car, although if you have a multipoint injection system the are available

Yes they are easy to fit but it depends on your own ability, I could fit one (so it must be easy), if in dout
it should take a professional mechanic/car engineer about
half an hour, at a cost of approx £15, hope this helps

Will do Rob - I just hope its not a waste of money! Mind you, I think that the Superchip probably is. This was on my shopping list too but think it only releases an extra 5bhp for an extortionate £290. Any thoughts?
