@ GSPOT. Mate, the best way to get a good induction system is to get a pipe or hose from the throttle body to the cone. The pipe should be the same width (or ID) all the way through. The cone should be in a cool place with lots of air blowing into it.
I removed my wheel arch liner. The Bravo has a good 'ram' system, ie you get air from the fromt bumper.
I got the cheapest Pipercross Cone i could find with a 'neck' that would just about fit the hose.

You can just about see in the bottom of the 3rd image a silver pipe that goes from the plastic inlet over the radiator to the filter. You need one of those.
