Induction kit?

I was told that induction kits eventually bugger you're head up is that true? Had my spark plugs changed and there was white stuff around them and the bloke said my induction kit causes this and in about another 30k the head will need replacing.

personally i think thats a load of crap i've had induction kits on every car i've owned and non have had to have the head changed
