hey all, posted this bout 2 weeks ago. am gettin a green air filter induction kit and iw as wonderin how i can get an cold air feed to it. was thinkin of puttin in a bonnet vent. car is a 1.2 bravo and the air filter is at the very back of the engine bay. any suggestions/ pics thanx

I've got a green kit on my 1.4 and the old air box stays in place (filter removed of course) and works as the cold feed.

Dont know how the 1.2 engine bay is laid out but these filters are usually designed to work well simply bolted on, adding a dedicated cold air feed that wasn't there before should make it better but i dont think it will make a massive difference, run it for a while as it is and weigh up any potential advantage as opposed to the time it will take to do.

Plenty other 1.2 owners here who should be able to add their advice.

ill take some pics tomorrow for u mate, as ill be servicing me car and all and will e-mail them accross to u

mines a 1.2 aswell so should be preety handy for u mate.

one thing i would suggest is to get some piping like Ben_B or Skate2Creat in order to mave the cone further down into the wing and cooler ambient air. you will see what i mean when i send the pics.
