Wanting to fit an induction kit on my fiat punto mk2b however wanted to know if its legal and if it would pass my mot had a look around some say focus even if its for a ford as i wouldn't want to spend to much for a gsr one any suggestions plz???��

Lots of people fit the focus induction kit. I'm assuming yours is a 1.2 8v?
Its legal and it will pass an MOT. However it would need to be declared to your insurance company and may increase your premium.
It depends what you want it for as to weather its worth it or not. If your looking for performance gains, they are hardly going to be noticeable in the grand scheme of things. If your looking for noise, then the focus kit normally produces the sound that people are after.

not an ideal mod when winter is just round the corner and car hiccups down the road

Focus kit is an ok kit, but as alan says you will not get performance gains from this maybe better response from the engine and maybe 0.0000001 extra bhp that'll you'll never notice!
The GSR kit is the big daddy a bit more expensive but gives a few gains and sounds better than focus one. Thats my opinion.
But if you just after a bit of roar from the engine when giving it some beans then focus one will do just nicely, but to get any real gains you'd have to do a lot more than a induction kit

:yeahthat: I'll go along with Benny, if it's power gains your after then you'll have to do more than that, induction kits compliment the other mods such as exhaust systems and fast cams.
However they do make a great noise plus a cone filter will always filter out muck a lot better than a standard paper one so it's not a pointless mod to make

<p><p>Sweet different opinions there that's what i like but im looking for some noise and better air circulation don't want to spend more money than what ive spent on it also would like to fit a back box too as i had a new exhaust pipe fitted as it went after 5 years what do u suggest thanks for your responses also in looking on internet and there are so many focus kits if any of you has one already could you send me a link on which one to buy thankyou</p></p>
