Re: me agen

It is apparent that torque gains are larger on the centos. You'd be looking at cutting half a second off 0 - 60 if that's what you want. Torque would move from about 60 to about 64 more than likely.

Luke.

Re: induction kit

 its not that big a gain

An 8 valve punto makes less than 60bhp in standard form. 85bhp is a better than 20 per cent gain. That's a huge increase from an intake system, much more what you'd expect from a decent exhaust, bigger TB, cam, manifold and inlet.

I have a Cinq with a Punto 60 motor, a good aftermarket exhaust and a GSR kit. It sure as hell isn't putting out anything like 85bhp.

Re: induction kit

Dave, was your CDA still running that setup with the induction system running over the top of the exhaust manifold? If so it's no wonder that the CDA is worse than the GSR, you're pumping serious amounts of heat into the inlet air which will deliver a noticeable performance reduction, especially on a rolling road.

On a side note, why are the two runs out of sync on the revs?

that pipe so thick no heat effecting it and bonnet was open for that run.

revs hard to keep right with speedgear box

Re: induction kit

That has to be one optimistic rolling road. I do think the GSR is the best induction system out there

:yeahthat:

Lad of the other forum switched from the ebay shiney kit to a gsr felt a good improvement.

Personal opinion....GSR and novitec on par, but i never tested my novitec when my engine was tuned
