been tried, that too restrictive, especially when you conect to air scoop, they get full of crap, after 3 months my mpg is down by 10mpg i clean it and back to normal

Well on my cinq (as this is a cento section,not punto) i had no problems when i used a GSR + CDA, didnt fill up with crap, i only cleaned it as there was a period a few months back when the roads were flooded alot and got water all over me engine bay, so i thought it would be best to give it a clean, and it wasnt that dirty.

Now wheres arc as he has a CDA on his CENTO(not punto) and has done for a while

cleaned mine after 12K ... wasn't clogged up though...I just a bit bored lol.

if you havent got the dirt then its probably sucking the air from under the bonnet, not air from out side, i thought you reckoned air under the bonnet was hot

DIA is better than CDA. Put a DIA on the end.

My car is LOW, and i had the feed forward facing all the way down by the fog light, so all junk must have been going up there lol.

I have now turned it sideways, so it still gets cool air. I was worried about gulping up water with it front facing.

you need to get a lot of water in before it hydrolocks, rain be ok, but flood wont
