Technical Indicators, temp and fuel gauge not working

i have a 1996 fiat uno with fuel injection and recently I encountered a problem.... sometimes suddenly the indicators, fuel and temp gauge stop working immediately. then after some time they will start to work again. note that the hazard lights still remian working.

what can be the problem? can anyone help me?

There are two connectors behind the batterie.( left side, in the back )
One of them is plugged. This plug often corrodes.That cable is connectet to the fuse-board. You can make a check with a test-lamp.
If there´s no power on the fuses it´s the connector.

Also check behind steering wheel the plugs coming from engine to the indicators, fuel and temp gauge switches are intack just as a precaution if the problem is not solved near the batteries side as johorridoh suggested .

Off Topic: I am having a problem with only my brights working at times as they please. any help there johorridoh?
