Hi, hazards switch off and on ok and when central locking is locked and opened the indicators flash as they should and turn off. I have disconnected the battery and reset but still do not cancel when indicator stalk is back in middle position.

As they switch off via hazards and central locking I don't think I have a grounding problem.

I'm assuming its an issue with the BCM.

The issue is with all the indicator lights, front side and rear.

This happens whether I have indicated left or right.

If I indicate left and return to middle they carry on blinking left, if I then indicate right then return to middle the car continues to indicate right.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Thanks panda nut. I can get the indicators to stop blinking if I give the stick a really good waggle!!!

I’ve got some contact cleaner so I’ll give it a go and see if that does the job.

Top notch, thank you again

I gave the stalks a spray but ended up dismantling the steering (this was a good YouTube vid to do this ) and took the stalk assembly apart and gave the copper tracks for the indicators a good spray and clean. Unfortunately, when I put it all back together, I still had the same issue, so my best guess is that the contacts for the indicators aren't returning to ground properly. I've ordered a replacement stalk assembly and should be here Friday/Saturday and hopefully this will fix the issue.
