Hi guys just another proud Fiat Panda owner.
Last week my rear indicators started to fade to the point where no one can see then, not even at night, it was dangerous and I couldn't continue like that so I started to dig in why they were doing that.
It turn out to be the earth that connects the rear lights was " calcinated"( sorry for my poor English), so I read some where if I get 2 small wires (naked) and place then where the earth was it would help the connection....and it did but now I'm scare that might burn or god know what happen... can some one with more experience help me?
Many thanks

Remove the earth cable from the body and use emery paper on the cables metal part that is the connection so it is bright metal, do this to the body where the cable end and connector is secured, it will need nice bright metal to make a good earth. Tighten the nut up and all should be well. Give the connection and cleaned metal a good coat of petroleum jelly to resist corrosion.

Hi.

Using abrasive paper to remove the oxidisation to the metal contact parts of the wiring.

That should be enough .. unless you have damage to the vehicle wiring .
