Technical Indicator Light

Hello,
recently my handbrake light has been coming on while Im driving, I understand this is a fluid light, what should I be topping up, its a P reg Punto Sporting 1.2.
What grade oil should I use and whatever else needs to be topped up...

It's brake fluid you need not engine oil

Could of been a expensive mistake there!

yeah check your brake fluid levels normall a small whute container at back of enging with white plastic screw top. on side shold be a minum and maximum mark.

also as the light is also the hand break indicator if the fluid levels seem fine than the swicth on the hand break may be loose and ned adjusting/replacing
