Technical Indicator dash light

 Hi, another problem to solve.
My indicators work fine but I could hardly see the dash light working if at all.
Got an led replacement one but that's just the same, anyone any ideas please?

So this morning I checked the dash lamp holder had a good earth connection which it did.
I then checked for 12v at the lamp positive when indicating and there was none.
Going to look at a wiring diagram but any suggestions appreciated.

Flasher unit has green to middle pin, I assume this is correct as the flashers are working correctly.
No voltage when flashing to green pin so assume flasher unit is kaput.
Going to order a new flasher unit unless someone says its not that.

If anyones interested, fitted a replacement indicator unit and all working fine, jobs a goodun.

That is interesting, I have the same symptoms on my car, a new flasher unit added to the shopping list.

It was working when I first got the car, all be it dim and got worse. I've also changed the dash lamp to led.
