important questions please help!!

Hey guys as some of you might know i was in an accident back in Sept. Finally i have managed to get my car back from the insurance company.
this is the problem having been stood for a long time do i need to do anything before starting my car for the first time in nearly six months?

Check all the fuses, oil, water, petrol filter - if you have un, clean the plugs, check the leads.
Edit - turn the key a couple of times so the fuel pump pumps inugh fuel to the engine, then start

the battery will need a long charge before it will do anything after 6 months.

i'd check that it was gonna start, then go for a DIY service atop all of the things above...

yeah was going to make sure the battery then, change oil, filter and coolant. Also will check the other bits like spark plugs fuel lines etc as its been stood about for a while. probably best check the brakes (even though they had only been on for three bloody days)

Anhything else worth knowing?
