hi all ,newby here, ive read that the immobiliser on a 2.8jtd cannot be bypassed,if this is the case are there any quick fixes if i need to get my
2002 2.8jtd vehicle started? i did not get the red key with the vehicle . my motorhome starts well at the moment but i would hate to be stranded somewhere in the future in view of the fact that i have a disabled daughter.
any ideas on this matter would be most welcome and appreciated....thanks...peter.

Hi Peter, :)
no idea what you mean by a RED key..??, that's circa 1994 FIAT

by 2002 the vehicle would normally have been supplied with 2 x BLUE keys,
both with Chips,

what you need is a second key built and coded to the vehicle, :)

tell us where in the UK you / the Ducato are based and we may be able to recommend a place.

there is always the option of contacting last owner, on V5C logbook, to see if they've found the other key in a drawer at home,;)
could save you @£75(y)
