I'm getting old???

Obviously I'm a bit late now as you're picking up the car the next week but I went from a 3-door to a 5-door when I bought my GP and barely noticed the difference. My friends liked it though :smile:

If anything the only thing that annoyed me was remembering I had an extra door to open when throwing my junk on the back seat and even that was only when it was more than a handbags worth

admitedly it is a rear wheel drive, 6 cylinder 200bhp estate car, but still.

and I now have her!! she goes quite quick and I now totally see what abyss means with the 5th gear!!

also seeing a big difference in fuel too!

just a shame she sounds like a tractor when idle!!

my 5th gear just keeps going and going never seems to stop its been to 120 so far and could still keep going glad your enjoying it and yet the tractor noise is a bad thing to have but the benefits more than outweigh the cons

doesnt affect it iin the slightest with a 1.9 TD, if it was a cento engine however.......:tongue3:

according to the figures its only 15kg a difference between the 5 and 3 door so better get on a diet steve and make it more 3 door friendly

The fact is guys is that I'm actually struggling to drive sensibly with this motor anyway! it is very responsive and pulls very nicely, a lot quicker than the tangerine did for sure! I actually sometimes forget that this is a 5 door car, and always get a stupid grin when putting my foot down!!

you might not be driving sensibly but i bet your still getting better fuel economy if your engine is the same as mine you can have a shot of my remap box if you want to feel the 160bhp

yeah i passed the details on to martyn so he has an advert on here and fiat forum hes based in ireland but basically its something like £115 for the box with free next day delivery and 1 month return if your not happy and a 2 year garauntee
