...or rather, a hollow, plastic-metallic sounding rattle.

I strongly suspect the very annoying sound from the rear of my Brava interior is coming from one of the big plastic covers for the rear lights (the one without the "pocket" for documents etc.), but I can't get the cover to come off. The screw at the top just goes round and round, and I wouldn't like to bend the cover off and break it in the process. Anyone know what the inside looks like - is it safe to bend open and then just pop back into place...? Or perhaps I should just buy a new cover?

And BTW, the rattle is not coming from the parcel shelf, not from the back seats, probably not from the carpet cover over the spare wheel. Tried them all. :)

get a falt screwdriver prised behind the rear cover, add some presure and with the other hand unscrew, i had this all it is, is the plastic mount that this screws into has come free,

fixing a hole

Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow. Hopefully I can then attach it properly and get rid of the rattle, driving me NUTS! :)

Re: fixing a hole

If that doesn't stop the rattle have you checked the tools on the spare wheel?
