Technical Ignition switches off going over bumps ...

Evening all , just joined to ask a few simple questions ...
2003 2.0 ducato ..

having issues with the ignition switch ..ie its turn itself off , go over bumps , engine dies , sat nav goes off saying power has been lost , turn the key restart all is good.
the ignition key is very sensitive to switching off , meaning you dont really need to turn it to switch off just tap the keys and the engine will stop.
you knock the key with your knee and kill the engine , the key clicks back very very easily ...
is it an easy job to change the switch only ( my other van is a mk7 ford transit 10 mins to fit a new one)
having never owed anything fiat im unsure what to expect ..

Very easy to change, remove 4 screws, remove lower steering column panel. lever out the side tabs on the switch and it pulls off

Thanks for the reply , you wouldn't have a part no to hand , looked on europarts for an ignition switch and they don't seem to list anything ...ill have to pop in and ask a person not a search engine . glad its a simple job though ...

They only sell it with the barrel and it costs an arm and a leg,there are aftermarket ones listed on ebay:

complete one not a lot more but its a pain to remove the shear bolts

Do you know if it will allow the immobiliser ring to fit this ....
