First pic, the silver Peugeot at the top to the left... IIRC that's a one-off 407 Coupe prototype with 300bhp-worth of mid-mounted V6 :D

And the black F40 kicks ass  my favourite car EVER! It should be red really, but it looks mean as fook in black

i wondered wat that was...

mind u aarron your grale wouldnt look out of place there!!!

I wish, but I do know someone with the ex Juha Kankkunan (spelling?) rally winning Abarth works prepared integrale that is probably worth about £150,000. It has now been de-restricted from the WRC regulations and there isn't a rolling road in the UK yet that can record the torque, its that powerful. It goes from about 100lbs/ft at 1000rpm to over 450 by 2000rpm so the wheels actually spin on the rollers

c now that is just silly... in all honesty as cool as it sounds u dont need that much power, aint got anywhere to use it over here.

i think about 300 bhp would b plenty for me ;)

Ah but he competes in it in the de-regulated Group B rally category now, along with Metro 6R4's RS200's etc etc you see them around the UK inevents like the Sun Seeker down here in Bournemouth, which reminds me that must be soon

If i remember rightly, the jump from 100 to 400lbs/ft torque happens over a space of 200rpm! So its not so much a curve but a 90degree wall of torque :D

And in the 5th one down some tosser has parked his BMW***ermobile in the shot and ruined the picture :( p*ssing X5's, second only to Cadillac Escalades in the c**tmobile hall of shame!

Oh, and the mystery car is a Pagani Zonda. Looks better in silver though, or laqcuered bare carbonfibre

THAT's what I was trying to think of! Knew it was a Venturi but hadn't a clue what the model was. Nice car but IIRC from an old Evo review, it's underpowered (circa 250bhp?) and overpriced (~£60K+?)

bet the transmission loves that!

the group B cars still get used? where and when, i would love to come down and see that

As its an ex-works car it has a titanium prop-shaft & carbon fibre drive shafts which I believe Lancia/Abarth were the first to use, so drive train well up to the job!

They compete at most events throughout the country. To give you an idea last years was held on the 27/28th Feb in bournemouth & there was a 6R4, integrale, Escort Cosworth, loads of Mitsubishi's Subaru's right down to a MK2 Escort RS2000 Talbot Samba 106 Rallye's & wait for it, wait for it, Skoda Favorit & Daihatsu Avonzato.
