Hello Everyone.
I have a 2017 reg Panda 1.2 8 valve. My problem is that when the engine is at working temperature the idle speed drops to 600rpm for a few seconds and then returns to normal.
Following advice on 'tinternet, I've checked hoses for leaks, cleaned any breather holes I could find in the air filter box, cleaned the throttle body ( which was spotless) new air filter, spark plugs. I think the clutch switch is functioning as I can hear a slight change in engine noise when taking my foot off the pedal. I disconnected the battery to reset the computer to no avail. This seems to coincide with a recent service I carried out so I looked to see if I had put the air filter in the wrong way around, replaced the brand new NGK spark plugs as the were bought from Amazon and suspected they may be fake. I've also replaced the ignition leads with NGK just to be on the safe side.
The only reward from all this work was to remove the tip of my finger on the ridiculously sharp cooling fan while trying to recover a lost bolt!
The car has only done 20,000 miles and is lovingly cared for and overly serviced by myself.
No error codes of any kind are shown, a battery test proved it was in excellent condition.
Apart from the tick over, the car performs perfectly.
Any ideas on what to do next would be greatly appreciated.
