Ive just fitted a radio/cd in place of the cassette radio in my y reg Mia. it comes up cancheck when switched on but goes no further to display the code dashes so I can put the code in. Ideas please......

Probably a case of the code has been entered in wrong too many times, its just a case of leaving it turned on and waiting for it to let you put the code in
