Thinking something along the lines of:

Two 12" Subs: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VRX-12-SUBWOO...712524398QQcategoryZ18805QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

And This Amp: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mutant-NW280S...oryZ4950QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting

With This HU (Already Purchased and fitted): http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3293&item=9708539317

Excuse the "Ebayness" lol just the easiest thing to find stuff on.

What do you think of this as the possible setup in mi boot?

Personally I'd avoid both the amp and sub. You can get much better for not much more cash :) What sort of budget are we looking at here? :)

I have the original fiat dash speakers which need replacing which i still want in the dash rather than the door. I have replaced the shelf support speakers with some cheapo 6x9's which will need replacing but not atm.

I am on a fairly tight budget of around £120

What sort of things would you suggest?

to be honest for that amount of money you could get a FLI trap - I know this is mentioned by myself a lot, but the amp is matched to the sub, and they sound good for the money

I had one in the car for ages and it sounded brilliant, I would scrap the 6x9s and just run the front speakers and the sub.

The FLI Trap 12" Active you can get for around £120 if you shop around - iirc they're £150 in halfords, but online is cheaper. remember you'll also need a wiring kit to get it all up and running...

another point to consider is that you can go spending £120 on cráp stuff now but in a couple of months you're going to want to upgrade - and you'll never get back what you paid for it originally. You're better off saving another £50 and getting better quality stuff to start with.

£70 including shipping...

Thanks Alot, Ill bear all this in mind. I'm going to visit a few local car audio shops see what they can do for me. Thanks for all yer comments and so forth!!(y) :worship: (y)

In this case, I would say go for the FLI as well :) £85 will get you the sub and wiring :) which leaves enough to get a better set of speakers up front. You won't go far wrong with either the JBLs or Kenwoods, but I personally would go for JBL - I've not good a bad thing to say about their value for money :D
