hi iv got two 1000 watt jbl 10" subs in a double sealed box with a jbl gto 400 watt amp running one sub and a sony xploder 1000watt running the other and some other 400watt amp running my 6x9's 300watt each iv got rca lead running from the head unit to a splitter then the splitter runs off to the gto and the xploder and then from the xploder the other amp then iv got the power lead going to a 1 to 4 splitter block then 3 to the amps and one to a cap and the remote wire going to the gto amp then to the xploder then to the other amp (dont know what its called lol)and the earth wire running from the cap the the body and then another runing from all three amps to the body
the problem iv got is the two subs are pooping like moving in and out and the 6x9's are doing the same iv checked all the wires are connected properley but its still doing it can any one help me out this problem started before i added the cap

are all your wires + - on the correct way?

to me it sounds asif you have blown them.

the 1000w is actually 250wrms so if your amps are givin it more than that with the gain on high you will have ruined them.

Jambo, pray tell us more on how its the cheap 6x9's or redundant power cap that are the problem? I'd be interested to know just what they do that cause the symptoms above...

R45C4L, doesn't the XPLOD 1000 have something like 250Wrms ?

you`ve got a few potentiol problems there really, firstly has the signal splitter you used for your rca got a signal booster?, becaus no matter how good the headunit it wont take the signal bein split 3ways, and nither will the remote wire, both of witch would cause you speakers to run quietly/muffled in the case of the rca, or pulson and off if its the remote wire, other than that itll be a bad return on the eath wire( and you really should have 3 seprate earth wires for the 3 amps or you`ll cause some really bad interfirance on them), and dont worry about them bein blown like the other mesage suggests, i have 4 of these subs in my boot and there quite hapaly being run off just over 4000wats so they can take some real abuse

hi cheers it sounds like i need to get a booster for the rca leads and for the remote do u think it could be the rca lead are gone because all three amps are make the speakers pop or should i say pulseate and i can here what sounds like the car idleing and if i rev it its revs up to lol which from the responses on here sound like a bad earth to

thanks moje

I was not implying that the equipment was the cause of the problem merely suggesting that the poor equipment has some problems in itself not to mention the poor quality for price

hi i found out what it was i blow the rca ports in my head unit all sounding great again cheers
