I've bought myself a Fli Audio Frequency 12 sub. It's got the amp built into it. I've got a couple of questions about installing it.

Now, my head unit is a Sony MEX-BT2500. It doesnt have any RCA preouts. I know I can get RCA Line Level converters, but the Fli Amp has high level inputs on the back of it.

The high level inputs look like a block connector, but I've just got the speaker wire that went into the speakers next to my parcel shelf. Is there a connector I need to buy for it?

Also, the amp needs a wire for the remote turn on. I don't think my head unit has this, and the manual says that if it doesnt, you can use a 12v supply with an inline switch, using 18 gauge cable. How would I go about doing this? Is there anywhere I can buy one from?

Here is a diagram of the amp. Number 8 is the speaker connectors.

"The whole point of a small Fiat is that you have a very small engine, powered by petrol, and you rev it and rev it and rev it until the valves come out and dance on the bonnet, and THEN you change gears" - James May

18guage is a really thin wire. Think of cheap nasty speaker wire and thats about the stuff. In fact, i think household speaker wire is usually thinker 12-14guage.
Look in halfords and get a roll of the thin blue electical wire. Its plenty thick enough (12guage from memory), and blue is the standard colour for a rem wire.
BTW, using a 12v with an inline switch will be a total pain in the ass, because you'll forget to turn it off one night, and the next day your battery will be flattened. You can find plenty of electical wiring thats already switched to the ignition. Your cigarette lighter for example. doesn't work if the key isn't in. So steal your power from that. Theres a tiny chance the fuse will blow, but going up 1 fuse size will be perfectly safe, and will save you killing the battery by leaving your amp switched on...

Alternatively, get a different HU. The new mp3 capable one in aldi has a set ouf amp pre-outs, takes memory sticks and is only £50. never tried it though, so it could be cack, lol.
