Hi all,
Got cracking today on my speakers to get the as finished as I can. My hands hurt and im bleeding from many places on my hand but I think it was worth it:
Got the speaker adapters that Tom made me fit excellently and easy to fit - took a little time cutting the steel in the door tho. Tip to anyone who is going to do this, buy a dremel or similar tool with a spinnig cutting blade on it - took about 15 mins each side.
Pic of the passenger side
Pic with the woofer in, notice the cable going upwards - this is for my tweeter which is located in my door. This is held in with a piece of velcro.
Pic of the install on the driver side.
Close up pic of the woofer. Got some silicone sealant to seal around the edge of the adapter so no air gets out.
Regards
