The first thing to check is your earth...has your earth cable got a good connection???

Ground Loop Isolator

A low level filter to isolate the ground between the car stereo and amplifier, to prevent car ignition noise and earth-loop hums.

i used these to kill the noise on my system, you can get them from Maplin, priced at £7.99. i used 3 of them. and they work very well.

Cheers Tafi i mihgt have to order one of those as maplin have a few good end of catalogue offers at the mo - If any1 is interested a 12v to 230volt inverter for £40???

As my other post that this is linked 2 As i aint installed my front comps yet i have just removed the RCA cable for the front and the noise has stopped, will this happen when i wire fronts up ?

i have one of those £40 inverters! 600w, quite good. I get a bit of buzzing when its on, i dont know if this is because it is about an inch from the amp or because they are sharing power cable though! Maybe one of tafi's oww jimmys would help that as well?
