Hi all
Now have a 10" sub & 2 ch amp installed in the boot which I think makes it sound a bit "back -heavy",so was wondering if there was anything I could do with the front door speakers to even it out a bit.
Any suggestions,please?
At the moment Im running a Sony HU 55w x 4,standard door speakers, amp is only 2ch,by the way.

Cheers
Peter.

Oh forgot to mention the car is a 96 Brava by the way..

A nice set of front components run from an amp would help. Head units put out 10-15W RMS at best, the 40-60W claimed outputs are basically lies :)

Cheers Tom
Would a decent set of 5.25 components run by a 100w amp make any real difference to the front..?
Cheers
Peter.

Deffo. 6.5" would be even better but the fitting is a tad more involved.

lol, @ a 'tad'

guess that depends on your perspective

Tom,

The 10-15W RMS thing is true... but isn't that the same as 40-50W max power?

I can't remember, but in school in Physics... I can remember that RMS voltage is different from Peak Voltage... so advertising 40-50W max power will, I presume, be the same as 10-15W RMS...

Not sure...

Liam
(Still trying to find a cheap Bravo btw in the Glasgow area)
