General i wanna gt turbo

hi all just joined really wanna buy a punto gt turbo would like a phase 2. 1 prob how many miles do u get 2 a tank as i drive from st albans 2 london holloway everyday so worried about miles. also what 2 look out for when buying 1 as well ? i own now a vauxhall calibra 2.0 16 v on a n reg in 1off standard cape blue with cream leather. just a big car wanted something a little smaller but with some punch

They are no ideal for long trips mate, nice and pokey.

My GT is for sale for £1000, Needs about £150/200 spending gettnig the tappets sorted as its ticking. but apart from that its a beauty.

I get around 230 miles for a £40 tank, thats mainly motoway driving at 80 and few times boosting. But tbh driving on or off boost it still drinks a lot.

Its cheap to tax, but your loosing the reliability of a vauxhall, and going to a ford.

If you wanted a GT my advice is get one thats had the major work already done, as a fare few things go wrong on Punto's.

Sorry for thye plug, but mine has more o less had the major work done fiats require.

I have a punto gt, they are a good car for pottering around town and so on but i wouldn't like to take mine on long drives every day tbh. When they are working properly they are a fantastic little car but that doesn't seem to be very often, every time i fix something on mine usually something else goes wrong about a week later :bang: Have you considered a coupe 16v turbo?
