Hey all, I'm Mark and I'm a Pastaholic...
Sorry, I'll get my coat...
Many years ago I had a uno turbo, I think it was a turning point for me as I have had everything to a F355 and Maserati quattroporte since, running a supercharged 156 GTA and a fiat coupe 20vt at the moment.
Own EMKRAFTsve bmw, alfa fiat specialist in Bristol and I have been hllclimbing and rallycross competition driving from 14 years old (40 now)

Wow nice credentials.
Nice to see a business owner who is still interested.

I have got to the point where I have been doing it for so long and I have been able to get a lot of experience in the trade that losing interest in my craft now would be plain stupid. I am happy to have this feedback on my question because I really appreciate your kind words. To be honest, the only time I think I should have paid more attention at something else is the cold winter mornings when you are waiting for the workshop to warm up lol.
You are a very welcome to give me a shout if you have any questions or need to get hold of something for the right price etc

Those are some nice cars you've had over the years!
Thanks dude, the best way to learn about a type of car is to live with it as a daily driver. I have just put my sorted alfa 156 1.8 16v ts engine and box which is a 1998cc over square rev screaming banshee with different ratios that pulls 72mph in 2nd gear etc in a chassis setup 03 plate punto for hill climb racing, n/a 283bhp that revs to 8800rpm for soft cut and 9300 hard cut limit

Hi Mark, and welcome,

that TS engined 188 does sound fun.. - having had both parts " independently"..

when you say "Bristol" - is that the city.. or just nearby..?

we quite regularly get people asking for a good indy garage in the area..,

nothing current seems to be known...,

07950476393 is my personal number, I spend most of my time in my double garage writing files for remapping etc but email [email protected] or put BS13 8DP in the sat nav and I am not going to turn anyone away that quotes mates rates for the members and I will throw in a 15% discount to get the ball rolling

You have a lot of armchair experts in the south west and the reason why I didn't move away as I am building the engines of my competitors in the grass roots of motorsports, the best thing to come out of this is the reputation for being fair and straight forward and honest, I have no interest in dominating a class when the whole point is to push and be pushed

I don't want anyone to feel it is too late or not polite to call me or drop me an email as I am notified instantly of my account and I am easier to get like that because the ring tone doesn't get lower when I get home from work, so I'm just going to say that my opinion, experience, respect and understanding of your needs to be off the road and stuck with no transport is not the answer to anyone's problem and if I can help anyone that quotes member mates rates, I can take a 15%discount for now until I get a plan together and talk to the boss of the forum and we get a few ideas in place, I have been thinking about a title sponsorship thing and using a network of my contacts in the fiat alfa group, I have most of Cornwall to Aberdeen covered lol

Just to clarify, EMKRAFTsve is the parent company of MVPWERKS so I can be reached by [email protected] as well as [email protected] out of hours but both are priority notified to all my devices just so you know how to reach me at all times

I have been lucky enough to have picked up some amazing technicians in the recent time from 2002 and they are fully qualified bmw master techs, full ex race test crew for a Mr Gabrielle Tarquini from the 155 TI days and the older one of the 2 worked in the crew of juha kankunnen in his last lancia world championship year before the works team was replaced by the 'jolly club' as 'carlos sainz' joined in the opposite direction to juha and the spoils of war fell to the Fin. Finally got a good rolling road operator and even though he is only 35, he has been at the front of the fuelling development as it progressed from k-jet to sequential injection and multiple injectors like the 16 he has in his own 910bhp VXR Monaro 6.0 V8 twin turbo beast
