I love my Bravo - but it's been nothing but trouble.

Since buying a brand new Bravo in September 1999, Ive had nothing but problems with it. Everything that can go wrong has gone wrong. Ive driven more courtesy cars than i have driven my own. And to top it all off the dealership where i got it from in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, doesn't want to know when i try to reject it.
I love My bravo, and im converted to driving Fiats but am i asking to much to want a brand new car to work?
I just want to get a Bravo that i can rely on.

No your not asking to much. It's a pain because i've had my R reg Bravo from new, and apart from a new exhaust (recently) and a new radio (2 days old) i've had no problem s with it.

You could contact your local citezens advice bureau and see what they have to say about the matter. (i take it the car is under guarantee).
The last option is this. Take the car back to the dealer and either demand everything be put right or a new car! If they refuse send them a solicitors letter, stating what you want. If not dump the car on there forcourt (in the way of something-the entrance maybe) and then walk away with the keys! Refuse to move it untill they cough up. Drastic but it has worked before!
You should still be eligable for a full refund i would of thought?
Look in your loacl telephone directory for the number of your local citerzens advice bureau, and they should be able to help you alot more than what i can.
There's always Watchdog!!!!!!!

Check your warranty, but I don't think you are obliged to stick to the dealer you bought the car from. Unless distance is a major problem, I would approach another registered Fiat dealer with your problems, and future business. Also, contact Fiat directly (0800717000 or www.fiat.co.uk), and name the dealer, complain bitterly and document all your problems. Your dealer has strict obligations under the Registered Fiat dealer regime, and if they are not sticking to these or being unreasonable, they should be penalised.

Don't stop pestering people until you are happy.

Honda

Sorry to hear about your trouble I have just got a new Bravo and I like it alot lucky enough that I hav had no problems but if you are changing your car I say get a Honda one of the best cars on the road!
