My head light need replacment lamps as the cold weather and hot bulbs don't mix and i have blown one.
I need to know which lamp gives off the most light and isn't going to mean me taking out a second mortgage.
I found these on E-bay does anyone know if they are any good or can recommend something better.
Thanks in advance.

I bought a set of these from my local motor factors for £14, they were much brighter than the standard ones. (along with a set of purply side lights :))

The dipped beam is as bright as the main beam!

LOL!!! What a load of utter bullshit that guy is spouting about those bulbs :) Hmm.. normal bulbs are not 1900k! I think he needs to check is figures :)

Normal fillament bulbs are 3200k, daylight is about 5000k. 2000k is about the colour of a nice orange sunset.

Rab, make a note of http://www.powerbulbs.com/ just in case.

Osram silver star or philips vision plus. From memory I think my philips bulbs are either 5000k or 6000k.

Vision Plus by Philips for me!

Powerbulbs, as suggested by Tom, were doing these with a free pair of sidelight bulbs.

Mark.
