hey guys,

finally, after waiting for insurance to pay out on ma torched HGT i've got a new one!!!!

YAY!!!!

its a 'V' reg, 155 HGT, with leather interior, heated seats, air con...etc its a german import.


one problem i have with it tho....

when taking a right hand corner at anything above 15mph (eg, roundabout, junction..) i get a scraping sound from under the car, thought it was the brakes for some reason cos they are drilled and grooved and make noise when i press brakes on firmly but then i thought, im not using my brakes on a roundabout!

could it be the exhaust rubbing the ground?
it has pretty good ground clearance for a HGT.

any ideas?

Just clutching at straws but could it maybe be a bearing ar maybe your tyres scrubbing on the arch?

i was thinking tyres, but cant see anywhere to rub.

then again havent had time to get it up in the air and its been too dark.

Bearing, or the pad is touching the disc on that side and grinding a bit.

oh and does anybody know of a place to get a cheap cd changer for it?

my old one got burnt up with the car...

its really expensive, im gonna be daring and try a old cd changer i found at my girlfriends house, think its a sony.

what colour BOO sticker should i get on my back window? i had red on my red hgt, but dunno about this one?
