i brought my first cinquecento

hey I have brought me first car and the car is a fiat l reg cinquecento sx. I love my car. It is great. I can not wait till i take it out on a really long drive. I want to drive to blackpool but as I am a learner i will have to go on roads over than motorways it will take ages. Then I am going to be unleashed on the road.

i am soo happy with the car. There is a problem with the gear lever though. It is where the bottom of the forks meets the cable to the gearbox or the cable to the clutch. It aint a big job but i am going to repair fully. Replace the whole unit rather than mess around just replacing a part. I then did not realise the battery was only small and ran the battery out with playing my music in the car, while teaching myself all the functions and things. So tomorrow I am going to find out the name of the part that I need and then, while I do that charge the battery. On monday I am going to insure the car and get that part for the car, then I hope that everything will be fine and I can drive it off in to the sunset so to speak. I am now very interested in the fact that if my car has air conditioning. I asm not entirelly sure where to look so I thought that I would come to you guys for help

you would be pretty sure if it did. The fact it's an L reg SX means it probably hasn't. have a look for extra switches that say A/C on

okay i will look for that. It is not life threatening if I have not got it. it has got a sunroof though and electric windows. So as far a looking great it is fine by me. I jsu want to get it out on the road and drive and drive and drive.

I'd wanted a Cinq for about 6 yrs before getting one. So when I eventually got one and wasn't insured until the next morning, you can imagine my frustration. Trust me, it's worth the wait

Nice one. And has already been said up there ^^^^ (puts mum hat on)....don't go mad no matter how tempting it is, cos it's not worth it in the long term.

Well it's not been spotted since but no idea if it's there or if it's gone cos it was hungry. Better check the neighbourhood and see if any cats or dogs have gone missing !! LOL

hello i brought the car foud out the part i needed and i hope by mid next week am i able to buy the car. it is bright red and looks fantsatic it is mint condition and once i get it out on the road i am going to take out in to the country and take some pics so i will post them on here so you can all see it
