Hi there got a problem and its really making the old noodle sore I have a w reg mk2 punto 1.2 8v and I pulled the head unit out which was a after market tape player and the wiring had been butchered no original wiring loom left so I bought a new male ISo and started putting the car wiring back to original on the power connector I got black to black I got red/black to red but the wire has been cut and joined so white/ red also connects to red/black and that connects to the yellow lead next I have a white wire that says illumination which I connected the yellow/green wire to. I then did all the speaker wires which I know are 100 per cent correct . The hu powers up and plays a cd but no sound comes out the speakers. I then read something about the little blue/green wire and was told to connect it to the orange wire that says power antenna but when thts connected you power up the hu and the whole dash lights up with temp light eml fiat code lights wipers etc i disconnected it very quickly and I am now a bit stuck. I hope I have listed every detail needed and any help would be gratefull
