HTC One and Spotify - Fiat 500

I've got an HTC One (the newish one) and use Spotify.

Does anyone know if it should work when going through the USB socket and tracks have been downloaded to the device?

I'll assume not as I would expect it too push the output through the 3.5 jack (which I appear to have an input for next to the USB) or files are on the root of the device, unless someone has got it to work?

Should have posted this sooner, but it does work if you connect the phone to the AUX in socket with a 3.5 cable as expected.
