Hi all,

Does the mk2 HGT have HT leads? I noticed in another thread it may be the cause of some hesitation under acceleration. Angeltuning thought it was likely to be the throttle potentiometer causing a delay in acceleration but its more of a hesitation mid-acceleration so I think it could be something else. It happens very rarely but I have noticed it a few times now.

Thanks,

Dan

pretty sure theres a coilpack per cylinder with no HT leads.
if anything one of those could be faulty.

Cheers Jug. As others have already said, it's great to see you on the BOO forum offering so much advice to the members.

And cheers Dan. I hope the alloy repainting is going well.

and an expensive coil at that! £60+ each if I remember correctly

does anyone know if the mk1 and mk2 coils are interchangeable..???

when checking the resistance on mk1 and mk2 coils i found no difference between them, suggesting both use the same coil size, so either can be used. scrapyard coils cost £5 each.
