My engine has become very oily (front side). I think upper and lower camshaft gaskets are leaking. How must it be washed ? Hot water ?

Oh and replace the camcover gaskets!
Thanks guys.
By doing that the camshaft must be taken off. It requres much of a work and I don't have the knowlede nor equipment, to set the timing belt. If I go to mechanics, they will rip me off + there is no garantee it will not leak again. Mechanic one replaced the upper cam gasket and guess what happened.. in 5 days it was leaking on the same place. It's cheaper to fill up the oil from time to time I think![]()

Does it? Removing the camcover on the 2.0 16v only requires the breather tube to be removed.
Lower cam gasket? You mean the head gasket or does yours have 2 separate cam covers?
